This Privacy Policy explains how Rui Navarro, operating this website (ruinavarro.com), Working Dog Academy and the Drive Control Protocol (DCP) (“we”, “us”), collects and uses your personal information when you visit our websites and pages, fill in our forms, use our website chat, book a call or join our programs.

This website and these services are operated by The Wagging Way LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA, which is responsible for your personal information.

1. Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, email address and, if provided, phone number.
  • Booking and application details: information about you and your dog (breed, age, behavior, training goals), your answers to our questions, including budget, and the date and time of your call.
  • Program information: training videos and messages you send us if you join one of our programs.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google tools.

2. How we use your information

  • To respond to your requests and send you information about our programs and services.
  • To schedule and run your call and assess whether a program is a good fit.
  • To deliver our programs and coaching if you enroll.
  • To send follow-up emails and messages (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To measure and improve our advertising and websites.

3. Text messages (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and tick the consent box for text messages on one of our website forms (it is never ticked for you), we collect your mobile number and a record of your consent. We use them only to text you about your inquiry: booking confirmations and reminders for your strategy call, and replies to your questions.

Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Msg & data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages; we will confirm and send no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or email us at info@ruinavarro.com. You can also ask us to stop texting you by email.

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. They are only processed by the service providers that deliver our messages, and only to send them. See our SMS consent page for details.

4. Legal basis (for visitors from the EU/UK)

We process your data based on your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform our contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as our own customer management system, Rui OS, which handles our forms, website chat and call bookings and is hosted on Vercel (EU region) with a Supabase database (EU), our email delivery provider (Resend), website hosting, payment processing (Stripe), video call tools, and advertising and analytics platforms (Meta, Google), and only as needed for these purposes or when required by law.

6. Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and pixels to understand how visitors use our pages and to show relevant ads on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. You can control cookies in your browser settings and adjust your ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below.

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union, with appropriate safeguards in place.

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
